Technical Writer responsible for a wide variety of technical writing and basic photography duties which involve preparing product manuals and manufacturing documentation for all Company products and accessories.
Responsibilities/ Background: Write, illustrate and edit product manuals based on engineering source data and input from engineering and manufacturing. Revise and update existing manufacturing documentation based on ECO activity and manufacturing input. Work with manufacturing and engineering personnel to produce documentation that supports the delivery and installation of field retrofits, upgrades. Participate in design reviews and new product design meetings.
Experience: Bachelors/Associates degree in Engineering or Technical Communications desired with 1-5 years related exp or equivalent. Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities required. Basic photography skills required. Ability to develop technical manuals and on line media for company and customer use. Ability to quickly understand Company products both theoretical and operational: exp working with engineering or field service a plus. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and microprocessor controls a plus. Software Skills: Adobe Framemaker, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office.
