This position is in the Health Cyberinfrastructure division at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC). Incumbent will serve as a senior technical writer for the Medicaid Integrity Group Data Engine(MIGDE) project. The technical writer will serve as the documentation coordinator by independently managing the division and MIGDE project documentation in both printed and web-based media. In this role, incumbent will develop, deploy, and maintain technical documentation to meet the needs of the MIGDE documentation lifecycle. As part of the team, under general direction, the incumbent will independently perform the following:
Conceptualize, write, edit, proofread and disseminate complex technical information in support of MIGDE activities.
Develop and disseminate consistent writing standards to the applications team and ensure that such standards are applied to all documentation, maintaining a consistent professional voice for all MIGDE documents.
Develop training material as needed by the various application groups in the MIGDE project.
Develop standard operating procedure documentation in support of the MIGDE user services group.
Design, implement, and maintain project system lifecycle documentation in a combined Unix and Windows environment; update and make technical documentation as effective as possible for our user community.
Work with the division PIs to develop proposal content.
