Creates engaging, well-organized technical and non-technical text for use in such venues as web sites, newsletters, brochures, video productions and corporate memoranda.
Analyzes requirements, assembles technical data, develops source material and consults with technical staff and others involved in the preparation of draft material.
Facilitates dialogue between staff to better understand written communication requirements and collaborates with graphic artists, photographers and others in content production.
Analyzes existing written and web-based materials in terms of purpose, format, effectiveness and necessity in partnership with other IDA staff. Assists in defining target audiences and determining most appropriate methods of presentation.
Assists in developing IDA corporate identity and branding standards and serves as a subject matter expert.
Serves as liaison with other IDA writers, editors and media producers to assist in ensuring that communications materials, publications and reports conform to relevant sponsor requirements and complement established communications strategy.
Leads, coordinates and edits the production of the four-color periodic corporate publication highlighting research products.
Maintains extensive, accuracy-validated lists for postal and electronic distribution of corporate communications materials.
