The Copywriter is a copywriter who, after a proven period of success, is beginning to hone their instincts for what works and what does not. You not only recognize the importance of appraising and editing your own work, you are becoming skilled at it, as well. Your best ideas are not just creatively fresh but strategically sound and on brand, too. A Copywriter is adept, or becoming adept, at speaking with clients and presenting copy and concepts to them, either in person or over the phone.
A Copywriter may be the only writer on a project, may be supervising a junior writer, or may be working side by side with other writers. In any case, you are expected to take responsibility for the quality of any copy writing deliverable ensuring that it meets Pereira & O’Dell standards for creative excellence and client satisfaction.
A Copywriter should possess the ability to work with clients in different industries and must be able to work comfortably with people from different creative disciplines and with different creative teams. You should also be able to collaborate effectively with producers, account managers, and others outside the immediate creative team.
