5+ years of experience working as a copywriter or marketing writer at an agency/freelance/in-house with experience writing for insurance and/or financial services organizations.
Must be well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Must be open to learning new online project management tools
5 years experience working in-house or a combination of agency/freelance/in-house with experience writing for insurance and/or financial services organizations. Must be able to write attention-getting short copy and informative long copy for both print and Web. Must be comfortable with complicated technical and regulatory language. Must also be able to manage projects throughout the project lifecycle including: participating in kick-off meetings with internal clients, creating drafts, managing edits from clients/legal, and working with designers. Expect tight deadlines and multiple projects at once. Must be well-versed in Word, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, using the Web for research, and adept at using various software tools for project management and time-tracking. The position is for someone who can work offsite so they must have access to email, Internet, and phone.
