The Intelligence Group, a youth-focused consumer insights and consulting firm, seeks a talented, creative and motivated writer with a passion for youth culture and trends. We are seeking a writer who is curious, detail-oriented and skilled at regularly recognizing and developing complex new sociological observations at both the macro and micro level. This person will work closely, and collaboratively, with a small editorial team. This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about modern cultural anthropology, particularly for those with previous experience in youth consumer insights, advertising, marketing, and/or generational studies (Generation Y, in particular).

Responsibilities will include:
Significant writing and editing of our quarterly research and trend reports focused on the attitudes, lifestyles and trends surrounding Generations X, Y & Z
Regular participation in company brainstorms and ideation sessions
Collaboration with our team in identifying and analyzing micro and macro trends
They may also include:
Writing and editing of our daily trend newsletter, trendcentral®
Editing of various proprietary projects, including research reports, consulting assignments and client presentations
Writing and editing of marketing materials and press releases
