Lend your voice to a new software group with your technical writing skills at this high-tech powerhouse in Austin while working at home. In this critical role you will be interviewing subject-matter experts distilling essential information into helpful, user-facing content in plain language. Along with writing content, you will edit, proofread and (as needed) rewrite large volumes of online content for global consistency, user-friendliness, Web-readiness, and adherence to our client’s internal style guide. Please include 2-3 writing samples that will showcase your technical experience.
Background & Experience:

- 3-5 years technical writing experience with firm grasp of copy writing, editing, and proofing for user facing content while adhering to branding and style manuals;
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software is helpful but not mandatory; however, the ability to communicate; advanced technical concepts using plain, globally translatable, error-free language is essential;
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or a related discipline preferred.
