We’re looking for a seasoned media pitcher to make calls to reporters on a project-by-project basis.
The ideal pitcher has 3-5 years of experience in-house or as a consultant, successfully placing stories in print and broadcast media. He/she is confident, engaging, and articulate; can quickly come up to speed on any issue; thinks through every pitch to anticipate lines of questioning and develop alternative angles on a story.
Media contacts in health, natural resources, or foreign affairs are a plus. Compensation will be in line with experience. Serious applicants should send a resume and brief cover letter. No calls please.
